The Los Angeles Fires has shown that fires are year-round. More than ever, TRAINED volunteer help is needed to assist animal owners and emergency responders to evacuate and provide emergency sheltering care to small companion pets, livestock and equine during disasters.
CCADT has begun recruitment in five counties - starting with Fresno County. Wildfires generally occur near the Fresno communities of Prather, Auberry, Shaver Lake, Yokuts Valley, Dunlap and Coalinga. You will be trained to assist in animal evacuation, emergency pet sheltering and shelter-in-place care.
Minimum age to join: 18 years
Background check is required
Registration is required.
Deadline to register: February 19, 2025.
