Entry Rules (Please Read Carefully!)

1. ONLY entries that are submitted within 20th June 2025 till 29th July 2025 11:59pm will be VALID.

2.There are NO Registration fee  are imposed on contestants as it is a FREE ENTRY competition.

3.This competition is OPEN to ALL Malaysian and International Cosplayers.

4.Each contestants are only been given 1 Minute to strike their poses.

5.Once audio or music are played the contestants should start.

6.Participants must register into the correct age group category to participate.

7.Those under the age of 13 are required to obtain the guardian's (your parents) consent before they can register.

8.All participant's cosplay must be from official released Anime/Animation, Comic/Manga, Games, Novel Official Released Vtuber, Vocaloid, Tokusatsu series. 

9.Original Character or fanart/doujin Cosplay including gijinka, genderbend or reinterpretations are NOT allowed.

10.No repeating entry, each participant is only allowed to have 1 entry in each competition.

11.The organizer have the right to reject the participant's applications if the character cosplay appears to be indecent or too revealing in respect to the event's family friendly environment.

12.Aesthetic backdrop is confirmed. With that, we also encourage the contestants to prepare their visuals. The contestants will submit their visuals and audio upon via Google Drive Link once their registration is confirmed/accepted and be invited to the event Whatsapp Group for participants. 

13.Any participants fail to show up during the Competition time will be immediately disqualified on the spot and the decision is final.

14.Participants are strictly required to be on time. Any late comer may face point deduction or immediate disqualification depending on the judge's decision. The check-in counter will be closed on 6:30 p.m. on 2nd August 2025 at the competition venue. Any latecomer after this hour will be disqualified.
 

15.The organizer have the rights to change these Rules & Regulation at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised Rules & Regulation shall be updated in this form immediately.

16.Participants queue number will be given out upon their attendance confirmation at the secretariat booth in front of the MBKS Stage at 5:30 p.m on 2nd August 2025.

Stage Rules

1. Any final edit or change of audio/visual/reference photo have to be done on OR before 30th July 2025, Wednesday. Participants can report themselves at the event secretariat booth in front of MBKS Stage to check attendance and stage queue number. Any submission of file changes will not be entertained if submitted on 31st July -2nd August, Thursday - Saturday.

2. For Junior Category ; cosplay costume must be age appropriate.

2.No revealing costume is allowed.

3.No nudity is allowed. Please use a bodysuit if required.

4.No inappropriate costume allowed.

5.No military cosplay is allowed.

6.No projectile props are allowed to be "use" on stage.

7.No real weapons, sharp weapon, or any props that might cause harm to human or environment is allowed on stage.

8.Confetti, water, fire, powder, harmful substances or anything that might cause messiness is not allowed on stage.

9.Nudity, vulgar language or content that might cause the audience feeling uncomfortable is strictly prohibited.

10.All performance must be in between the duration of maximum 1 minute. 

11.Failing to abide performing in given time limit will have the contestant mark deducted.

12.All performance are strictly to be on the stage. Any off stage performance/interaction will result in auto disqualification and the organiser has the right to stop the performance.

13.Any "effect" items used on stage must leave no harm and no trace to either the stage or the audiences.

14.Any damages/messiness done to the stage will result in either mark deductions or disqualification depending on the severity and the participants will have to bear the cost of the damages.

15.Participants must understand the risk of any performance that is performing on stage, the organising team will not be responsible for any harm/injuries which happens on stage.

Summary of Point Deductions

1.Contestant’s costumes are different from the reference provided.

2.Contestants performance time exceeding 1 minute.

3.Leaving the stage messy.

4.Any flying objects/props malfunction that results in it being flung towards the judges or crowd or off-stage will have their point deducted.

5.If props are broken during the performance, points will be deducted.
