Complete Labor & Staffing of Brockton, MA is now hiring a Branch Manager. Previous management experience in retail or staffing/recruiting is required.
Overview:
This position is not your typical office job; it extends beyond the conventional 9 AM - 5 PM framework. Managers must be readily available to meet the ever-changing needs of the branch, demonstrating exceptional time-management and organizational skills. Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, from overseeing daily operations to driving sales strategies, and will require a flexible, hands-on approach.
Responsibilities:
- Management of Internal Staff and Temporary Employees
- Oversee scheduling, productivity and performance to ensure optimal staff efficiency and job satisfaction
- Ensure smooth office functioning by overseeing supply inventory, equipment, and operational procedures
- Identify and place candidates in both short-term and long-term assignments, matching client needs with the right talent
- Drive sales strategies and operations within the branch to meet and exceed targets
- Foster positive relationships with a diverse range of personalities, enhancing team collaboration and client engagement
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of previous management experience in staffing/recruiting or retail
- Must have valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurance
- Extremely flexible, able to work weekends and nights as needed
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills
- History of successful team leadership and business growth
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to learn new software as needed
- Organized, driven, and goal oriented
Preferred Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service and sales
- Familiarity with labor regulations
