Hello! This year we are excited to be collaborating with Ragfinery for some exciting workshops. Your Bellingham Folk Festival wristband (click here to purchase) includes access to these classes. The Ragfinery is located at: 1421 N Forest St, Bellingham, WA 98225
Capacity is limited to 10 participants for each class, so sign-up in advance to reserve a spot! These workshops are all ages, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.

3D Flower Embroidery with Stephanie Paulantis
Explore the art of embroidering dimensional flowers. Learn cast-on stitch, woven wheel, French knots, and other embroidery techniques to craft lifelike floral designs on fabric. Leave with a small project and a few embroidery supplies. For individuals with basic hand sewing or embroidery experience, $3 material fee (or bring your own supplies if you prefer).

Mending with Stephanie Paulantis
Learn to mend your own clothes, especially knitwear! This workshop will provide a bit of hands-on guidance for your own repairs. Bring your well-loved clothing items in need of repair and we'll learn common techniques to make them better-than-new again. Tools and yarns will be provided.
