PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL UNTIL THE NEXT COHORT BEGINS ON JULY 1, 2024. WE WILL BE REVIEWING APPLICATIONS ON A ROLLING BASIS AND WILL NOTIFY YOU IF YOU SELECTED FOR THE NEXT COHORT BEGINNING ON JULY 1, 2024.
Calling all creatives! Evergreen is seeking artists and makers to join the EVG Collective. As part of the Collective, you’ll benefit from 70/30 payment terms and complete control of the listing price of your inventory.
How we choose.
Vendors are considered based on the following criteria:
- Overall fit with Evergreen mission/brand
- Retail-readiness
- Conduciveness to a retail environment
- Existing inventory (to avoid product crossover)
- Space availability
- Seasonal appropriateness
How we dish out yeses (and nos).
When it’s a yes:
Accepted submissions will receive correspondence confirming acceptance and provide the next steps. We’ll celebrate a little, too.
Once accepted into the EVG Collective, vendors must sign their contract within 10 days of receiving it. They are expected to be able to fulfill an inventory drop-off by the end of the acceptance/denial window provided in the acceptance email.
When it’s a pass:
New submissions may be denied for any reason — with respect and love, of course. All denied applicants will be notified via email and are welcome to reapply after a three-month period with alternate product options.
We accept new vendors every 3 months.
How to self-assess.
The following information will help you determine if you and your amazing work are a good fit for Evergreen.
- We offer 3-month contracts with artists and makers on 70/30 consignment terms. This means vendors receive 70% of the retail price per item sold. The remaining 30% is paid to Evergreen and used for general operating expenses (inclusive of taxes).
- At the end of the 3-month window, Evergreen and the creative will consider an extension of the contract window. This ensures that all parties involved continue to feel aligned and inspired with the relationship. This extension cycle will continue until one or both parties decide to terminate the contract at the end of any 3-month cycle.
- Our goal is to support, showcase, and sell the work of local artists. If you are an artist or maker from Wilkes-Barre or The Wyoming Valley, please apply. If you are outside the NEPA area, you can still apply, but local vendors will be prioritized.
- Similarly, Pennsylvania-based artists will be prioritized in the selection process. In some cases, artists and makers outside of our preferred geographic regions will be selected if they have a significant tie to our community or offer a “must-have” product or creation.
- Our best selling artists are those who are committed to retail standards for packaging and presentation as well as offer a variety of products.
- Once the inventory has been delivered to Evergreen, the vendor cannot remove items until the end of the contract term. This not only promotes goodwill in the Evergreen/vendor relationship but minimizes any chance of inventory discrepancies.
In addition to these requirements, all vendors of Evergreen must:
- Have an active email address
- Agree to use email as a primary form of contact with Evergreen
- Have a Tax ID or social security number they’re willing to provide
- Accept monthly payouts via check
- Restock items as needed and in a timely manner
If you believe your products and creations meet the above requirements, please fill out this simple application:
