BOATT Board will initially have 4 standing committees: (1) Fundraising, (2)Communications/Public Relations, (3) Finance and (4) Special Events. Please check all that you would be interesting in joining. You must select at least one to be considered for the Board.

BOATT Board is an exciting and engaged working board. Board members are required to participate in all monthly board meetings and community outreach unless there is an emergency that may arise. There may be some face to face meetings as well as Zoom meetings. You will also meet with the standing committee as set forth by the committee chair. There will be 11 standing monthly meetings and possible an emergency meeting if necessary, which occur outside of regular board meetings (this can happen by phone, ZOOM or face to face). Board members are expected to be timely and present at every meeting with a maximum of two absences from board meetings. Between work within and outside of meetings, hours of commitment would probably vary between 3-6 hours per month. Board members are also encouraged to participate in fundraising and development activities, which include an annual gift to BOATT that is personally significant and meaningful. Board members are expected to commit to the role for a minimum of one year. Will you be able to make this commitment to BOATT?
