Standard of Conduct & Christian Integrity Agreement

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of NLT Bible College and Leadership Institute.

We also believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, and complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God and cannot nor will not be tolerated while attending or teaching at NLT Bible College & Leadership Institute.(Matt 15:18-20; 1 Cor 6:9-10.) It is also the policy of this institution not to condone any manner of ungodly behavior, e.g., illicit drug use, stealing, lying, abuse, violence, etc. (2 Cor 12:20-21; Rom 1:18-31; Eph 5:3- 8; Col 3:1-8) and to deal with any such offenses swiftly and biblically. (1Cor 5:9-13).

We believe that in order to preserve the intentional function and Christian integrity of NLT Bible College and Leadership Institute which is a ministry of Harvest Time for Christ New Life Temple Church, and to provide a biblical role model to its members and the community, it is imperative that all students, persons employed by this school and local assembly in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, agree to and abide by the above statements on Sexual Conduct, Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality. (Matt 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; 1 Thess 5:22.) They also agree to submit to and behave as people of God in accordance to the prescribed Word of God which states we are abstain from all sexual immoral behavior.

For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; 1 Thes 4:3

We further believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and are willing to forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 1 Cor 6:9-11.)

Statute 20, United States Code, 1232g and regulations adopted pursuant thereto, hereafter, referred to as the Code, requires that each student be notified of the rights accorded him or her by the Code. The following is provided as basic general information relative to the Code. The Code provided for the institution to establish a category of student information termed "directory information." When available in college records, any information falling into the category of "directory information" will be available to all persons on request, i.e., the IRS, FBI, or other
government agencies, and for use in NLTBC publications.

All other information, such as health and medical records, disciplinary records, records of personal counseling, required student and family financial income records, transcripts or student permanent academic records, student placement records and other personally identifiable information shall be open for inspection only to the student and such members of the professional staff of the college as have responsibility for working with the student. Such information will not be released to second parties without consent of the student. Except as required for use by the President in the discharge of his official responsibility as prescribed by laws, regulations of the state board, and board policies, the designated custodian of such records may release information from these records to others only upon authorization in writing from the student or upon a subpoena by a court of competent jurisdiction.
