Contract Terms
- I am enrolling my child in the WeVillage child care program selected above for a six month term.
- I understand that I am obligated under the terms of this contract, and any subsequent contracts that I may enter into with WeVillage, to make all monthly tuition payments during the term of this or future contracts regardless of whether or not my child attends on the dates for which I have contracted.
- I understand that at the end of this contract, absent my sixty days' written notice to WeVillage otherwise, this contract will automatically roll over into a new six month contract that is subject to the same terms and conditions as set forth here, excluding tuition rate adjustments made by WeVillage during the contract term.
- I understand that I am required to give WeVillage sixty days' notice from the expiration date of the lease term if I do not wish to have my contract roll over for a new six month term.
- I understand that if I notify WeVillage at least sixty days prior to the contract expiration date that I do not wish to renew this contract, my Refundable Deposit will be refunded to me by WeVillage in a timely manner.
- I understand that in the event WeVillage adjusts its rates during the term of this or subsquent contracts, the new rates will go into effect with the immediately following contract renewal. For example, if WeVillage adjust its rates effective March 1st and this contract rolls over on July 1st, WeVillage will not adjust your rate until July 1st.
- I understand that WeVillage reserves the right to terminate this contract immediately should WeVillage determine that the program is not suitable to the needs of my child. In the event that WeVillage makes such a determination, WeVillage will refund a prorated portion of that month's tuition as well as my Refundable Deposit in a timely manner.
- I understand that, in the event that WeVillage terminates this contract for cause, my refundable deposit and any paid tuitition will be forfeited.
- I understand that if I break the terms of this contract, I am still obligated to make the monthly tuition payments for the duration of the contract term and I will forfeit my Refundable Deposit.
- In the event that my child has a birthday that advances them into another age group (i.e. infant to toddler or toddler to pre-k), my monthly tuition will be changed to the appicable pricing of the new age group effective on the 1st day of the of the month immediately following the month of my child's birthdate. For example, if my current Infant contract expires on November 1st and my child's birthday is on August 15th, on which date my child goes from an infant to a toddler, the currently prevailing toddler rate for the same contract type will go into effect on Septembert 1st and will continue through to the expiration of the contract term. On November 1st, the contract will roll over into a Toddler contract.
- I understand that any changes to this contract must be made, in writing, with the Director of WeVillage.
- I understand that if I add addional care time, it will be subject to the then prevailing rates which may be higher than the rates in this contract.
Fees
- I understand that I will pay a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $275.00.
- I undestand that I will make a one-time refundable deposit of $250.00, refundable at the time my child ceases coming to WeVillage, provided that the terms of this contract have been satisfactorily met.
- I understand that I will pay an annual materials fee of $100.00 on the date of this contract.
- I am responsible for assuring that the monthly child care tuition and monthly meal plan fee, if applicable, is paid on or before the first day of each month.
- If my payment is not received by the fifth day of each month, I understand that a late payment fee of $35.00 will be assessed and my child will be pulled from the attendance schedule until payment is received in full.
- If my payment is returned for any reason, I understand that a returned payment fee of $35.00 will be assessed and my child will be pulled from the attendance schedule until payment is received in full.
- If my child is dropped off before, or picked up after, the designated start and end times, I understand that a fee of $3.00 per minute will be assessed for the additional care time.
- I understand that in the event of any assessment described above, WeVillage will automatically make an ACH withdrawal or charge my credit card on the same day as the assessement is incurred.
- I understand that in the event that a meal or snack(s) is/are provided to my child, WeVillage will automatically make an ACH withdrawal or charge my credit card on the same day as the cost is incurred.
- I understand that no credit will be extended by WeVillage for vacations, holidays or in the event that the Center is shut down by government mandate due to COVID or any other contagious illness. Holidays include, but are not limited to:
Memorial Day
July 4th and the day before or after July 4, depending on day that
July 4th falls on
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
- I understand that WeVillage will also be closed on the following dates in 2024:
February 5, 2024 - Staff Development and Training Day
April 22, 2024 - Passover
May 13, 2024 - Staff Development and Training Day
August 17, 2024 - End of Summer Party
August 19, 2024 - First day of pre-school
