  • Our Young Membership is for those Under 25. Our Early Career Membership is for those who completed a terminal degree within the last 5 years. Please consider signing up to the sahgb.org.uk/network if you are a researcher or early in your career.

  • Gift Aid

    If you are a UK taxpayer and complete a Gift Aid declaration, SAHGB will be able to use it to reclaim the tax if and when you donate to us. This means for every £1 you give, we get an extra 25p - at no extra cost to you.

  • You are eligible for Gift Aid if you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. Gift Aid allows the Society to reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you give on or after 6 April 2008.

  • Optional Donation

  • As an independent charity, donations and legacies have played an indispensable part in allowing us to support academic scholarship and provide educational opportunities.

    We are fundraising: in Autumn 2023 we launched the Girouard Fund for Publications in memory of the Architectural Historian Mark Girouard. This fund has a target of 100,000 and we plan to raise this from a range of sources, but we need your help. We will dedicate donations made with membership for 2024 to this fund - please help us work to transform our smaller grants so that we are able to support a wider range of writing and research.
