THE SCHOLARSHIP FORM IS DUE WHEN THE ENROLLMENT FORM IS SUBMITTED
The Scholarship Program offers economic assistance to families in order that their children may experience an educational and enriching Museum School or STEM Squad class. Funding for the scholarship program is made possible by generous contributions from individuals whose goal is to help all children gain the life-long benefits Museum summer programs have to offer and gain an understanding of the natural world. Each year, the Museum has limited scholarships that are allotted – based on financial need. Awards are given annually on a first-come and need basis until all funds are distributed.
Applicants must complete and submit the Enrollment Request Form, the Scholarship Application Form, proof of public assistance, and income documentation. A scholarship award may be used toward the Museum School or STEM Squad class designated in the award letter. Scholarships are based on fund and class availability and do not guarantee a place in a class.
SCHOLARSHIP CONSIDERATION
Limited scholarships are available for children to participate in an exceptional educational experience; therefore, scholarship recipients must make every effort to attend each class to obtain the full benefit of the scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Upon confirmation of class enrollment, scholarship recipients will receive an Admission Letter with notification of the scholarship awarded. The Admission Letter will include a Scholarship Acknowledgment link which must be signed within 3 days of receiving the Admission Letter. Scholarship recipients are required to pay a reduced non-refundable Registration and Tuition Fee, as designated in the notification of the scholarship awarded, to secure the child's placement within 3 days of receiving the fee invoice. The Scholarship Acknowledgment and the Fee must be received by the stated date in the Admission Letter for the child to remain on the class roll.
