YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY.

BEFORE APPLYING, THESE THINGS MUST BE COMPLETED!

ALL of the animals in your home must be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and your dogs must be on heartworm preventative to go any further in this application. We will be verifying this information with your vet. Cats should be current on the distemper and rabies vaccines, and dogs must be current on parvo/distemper, rabies and bordatella vaccines.

IF YOU RENT: Before being considered as an adopter, we must have your pet lease policy. Please email it to mediacoordinator@tailsandtrails.org immediately after applying.

Let your references know they will be contacted and get their email addresses so you can get the dog you're most interested in. Not providing email addresses for your references will delay the processing of your application.

There is a $10 non-refundable adoption application fee collected below. This does not guarantee adoption. We are an all volunteer rescue, and the $10 donation goes towards food, boarding and medical care of our adoptable dogs.
