NutritionECW - MNT is welcoming Registered Dietitians Consultant willing to grow in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) with specific expertise in varies medical conditions.
POSITION DETAILS
Part time at first, with the opportunity to work full time once your case load is full. Expect a minimum of 10 to 25 hours facing patient per week equivalent to 40-100 hs per month.
The RD must have at least 3 years of proven experience in medical nutrition therapy of the following areas of expertise:
- Gastrointestinal conditions (IBS, Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, etc.), elimination diet, food sensitivities, weight management issues (texture issues, restrictive eating patterns, obesity, underweight, etc.) among other chronic medical conditions.
- Functional nutrition & autoimmune conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), perimenopause/menopause, fertility issues, thyroid conditions, hormonal imbalances, among others, while empowering them to build lasting health.
- Pediatrics (only for hybrid position) picky eaters, texture issues, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, among others.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- This RD will specialize in using nutrition as therapy for individuals, providing MNT by conducting detailed nutrition assessments, developing care plans, monitoring an evaluating on-going nutrition medical condition, and providing nutrition education, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
- Must be able to work independently, and to document in a timely manner patient’ records and documentation.
- Integrity in commitment to the position, patient care and continued learning.
- Maintain timely and meticulous records, finishing chart notes by the end of the workday or the following morning.
- Engage in professional networking and represent our practice within the community
- Stay up to date with nutrition science and best practices
- Clear understanding of the Nutrition care Process and charting process.
- Ability to produce three professional references.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Must have (or willing to have) a current license in the State of Georgia.
- Minimum 3 years of professional practice experience in a healthcare field.
- Strong communication and teaching skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification preferred
or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) preferred
or Certified Functional RD preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
SCHEDULE
This part-time position offers two options:
1 - Fully virtual - REMOTE
. Location: 100% Remote. Work from anywhere in the US.
. 1099 Contract Agreement: Enjoy the flexibility and independence of a contractor role.
. Flexible Schedules: Set the hours that best fit your lifestyle and availability
2 - HYBRID position is IC-1099 form for a trial period of 6 month and after that it is a W2 employment.
. Location: 4 to 8 days/month at the Johns Creek office and Flexible hours for virtual follow ups.
. W2 Contract Agreement: after a 6-month period
. Schedules: Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, to be defined.
. Clients seen per week: 20+week or 80+ per month.

COMPETITITEVE COMPENSATION
- Starts at $45 per patient seen (entry level), based on qualifications and experience.
- The salary structure is based on the number of monthly visits made, which increases with greater numbers of visits.
- We have an entire scheduling department who handles insurance and medical billing on the back end.
- RD will be paid independently if insurance covers or not the visit.
- The practice provides the EHR, Full-time Assistant and secure messaging.
