Manly Cole Classic Volunteer Form
Event Date - Sunday February 2, 2025. Please complete the following form with your preferred volunteering task and times. All members of the community are invited to volunteer for this non for profit fundraising swim event. On arrival please sign in at the registration desk at least 10 mins before your volunteer start time to receive directions and your volunteer t-shirt. The Manly LSC Bar will also be open to volunteers at the end of the packdown of the event.(approx 2:30pm)

WATER SAFETY - We require SRC or Bronze Proficient Volunteers on a board around the swim course, or with a tube in the surf break at the finish line. Volunteers are needed for the following times, ready to go at the bottom of the boat ramp.
5km SWIM Time: 7:00am - 9:45am
1km SWIM Time: 7:30am - 10:15am
2km SWIM Time: 10:00am- 12:45pm
WORK PARTY SATURDAY - Registration DESK setup, also includes putting up tents and event barriers
SATURDAY Time 11:00 - 2:00 pm
WORK PARTY SUNDAY - We need volunteers to help with the setup and packdown of the event
SUNDAY Start Line setup Time: 5:30-8:00 am
SUNDAY Finish Line setup Time: 5:30-8:00 am
SUNDAY Start Line packdown Time: 10:30am - 1:00pm
SUNDAY Finish Line Packdown Time: 12:30 - 2pm
BAGS Storage - we require volunteers to help store and retrieve their small bags
SUNDAY Time: 6:30 - 9:30 am (includes help with setup of this area)
SUNDAY Time: 9:00 - 11:30 am
SUNDAY Time: 11:00 -1:30 pm (includes help with Packdown for this area)
FINISH LINE - we required volunteers to remove timing chips, hand out and fruit and water to swimmers and competitor towels
SUNDAY Time: 7:45 am - 10:15 am
SUNDAY Time: 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
FIRST AID - Positioned at the Start Line (Shelly Beach) Volunteers need to First Aid Proficient
SUNDAY 7:00 - 9:45 am (includes setup)
SUNDAY 9:45- 11:30 (includes packdown)
REGISTRATIONS SUNDAY - signing on swimmers and handing out registration packs. (you will be standing the entire time)
SUNDAY Rego Time: 5:30 - 8:30 am (includes setup)
SUNDAY Rego Time: 8:30 - 11:30 am (includes packdown)
