Norfolk Contemporary Art Society gives a small number of grants each year to individual artists, groups, collectives and projects connected with art in Norfolk. Groups or individual artists can apply for up to £500 and applications for smaller amounts are also welcomed. Application deadlines are twice a year- the next deadline is 29 February 2024 at midnight.
Please note that our funds are limited and not all applications for grants will be successful.
What sort of projects we consider for funding:
Exhibitions of contemporary art, events by artists or connected with contemporary art, publications connected with contemporary art. Educational work connected with contemporary art, by or with artists and community groups. Interdisciplinary work connected with contemporary art.
We accept applications from artists, artist groups, curators or interdisciplinary partnerships. Artists and groups should NOT be in full time education. Applications may be considered if artists are in part time education.
Artists applying for a grant must be a NCAS member (see website for details on how to join) and for groups, at least one member of the group should be a NCAS member.
