The California ReLeaf Tree Inventory is not only a service for ReLeaf Network non-profits. Data in the inventory will be periodically shared with project funders and urban forestry researchers. To ensure high-quality data, we ask Network Member organizations to assist with quality assurance. All users agree to record data in accordance with data quality standards from ReLeaf training sessions and the Cal ReLeaf Tree Inventory User’s Guide. Users also agree not to share accounts with any other person, whether within your organization or beyond — more user accounts for Network Member organization staff or volunteers can be created as needed.
In addition, participating organizations must choose a Tech Lead, who will be responsible for overseeing data quality and training for other users. The Tech Lead will also work to maintain open lines of communication between ReLeaf and the Network Member organization. The Tech Lead agrees to respond to ReLeaf Administrator concerns and ask questions in the case of any uncertainties. ReLeaf reserves the right to alter incorrect data and will contact the Tech Lead to explain the reason for the change. In the event of repeated violations of this agreement, ReLeaf may revoke editing privileges.
