  • Thank you for choosing locally grown native plants for your planting project and for supporting our Landcare Nurseries—your commitment helps nurture our local environment and community.

    Most of our plants are ‘Climate Ready,’ that is, they are local species with evidence of being able to survive in a hotter climate. They are grown from seed sourced from both local and non-local provenances to maximise thier genetic diversity and enhancing their ability to adapt to climate change over generations.     Completing your request

     You can choose a LANDSCAPE MIX

    A landscape mix is a mix of various species selected by local Landcare experts to suit each of the three different landscapes: ridges, slopes and riparian.

    You can simply choose which landscape mix will suit your property, and we will provide you with a mix of appropriate species and types of plants.

    And/or You can choose particular SPECIES

    You can also request particular species, as well as, or instead of landscape mix(es).

    Please note, particular species will be available if we have sufficient stock, depending on demand, seed avaiablility and seasonal growing conditions. Please tell us if you would like substitution plants should we not have sufficient stock of your chosen species. 

  • Landscape Mix

    A Landscape Mix is a selection of various species chosen by local Landcare experts to suit each of the three different landscapes: slopes, ridges and riparian.

          RIDGES (R) – dry forest on poor shallower soils, upper slopes & rocky ridges Mix of plants suitable for ridges (comprising about 25% eucalypts, 15% other trees, 50% acacias and other shrubs, 10% flowers and grasses)

          Please choose the quanity of each species that you would like. Also select if you would be willing to accept a substitute species if your choice is not avaiable. 

          Substitution: Our nursery teams will endeavour to fulfil your request. However if a particular species is unavailable or there are not enough plants to fulfil your request you have the option to receive a substitute(s). A substitute will be selected from the same plant group (i.e. Acacia, Eucalypts, Other Shrubs, Other Trees, Flowers or Grasses) and will be suited to the same growing environment.

          If your choice is not available and you've;

          selected 'No', then no plants will be offered.
          selected 'Yes', then substitute plants will be offered.
          made no selection, then substitute plants will be offered.

          Landscape Suitablility Key: The following letters next to the species name indicate that the species is suitable for planting in that type of landscape. 

          R = Ridges W = Riparian
