The Leaders In Training (LIT) program is designed to give teens a positive experience in their community, provide on the job camp counselor training that will help prepare them for future employment opportunities and provide structured team building games and activities.
With these objectives in mind, the program will give the LIT’s the necessary background to assume leadership roles in the future. This is a program for teens who are interested in learning how to work with children and develop and improve their leadership skills while having fun.
LIT’s are in a peer group that explores program development and planning. During their session in LIT they will have opportunities to work side by side with younger kids and run activities for a variety of program areas.
