Registration Form - Distraction Games Sunday, Jan. 28th, 2:30 - 4pm
Fill out the form carefully for registration. There are so many possible distractions during a trial environment or even during class. This workshop will give you and your dog the skills and practice to turn it into a fun game. Using the principles of the 1-2-3 game we will practice some simple agility sequences while gradually increasing the distractions. Possible distractions used will be food, toys, and motion, people in the ring, etc.. At the end our goal will be to have your dog think sometimes unexpected things happen and it’s ok, I know what to do and how to reconnect with the handler. We will also learn how to recognize signs our dog might disengage and how to keep them engaged and in the game. Since we want to control and gradually increase the distractions please plan on crating from your car during this workshop. 1.5 hours $75.00 Limited to 6 teams. Auditors $25. Bring a variety of treats, leash, and be ready to have some fun!
Held at BAAD Arena
21700 Neff Road. Bend, OR 97701. Indoors on artificial turf with infill
