Playing chamber music is fun and exciting way to connect with others and grow as a musician. The ESYO Chamber Music Program strives to develop ensemble leadership skills, expand knowledge and appreciation for chamber music literature, and empower students to become self-reliant in a non-conducted ensemble.
Participants are organized into trios, quartets, or quintets according to skill level and appropriate instrumentation. Each chamber music group receives a minimum of six coachings led by a professional musician in preparation for performances and masterclasses throughout the spring.
This musically enriching opportunity is open to students currently participating in ESYO's Symphony Orchestra and Repertory Orchestra; no audition is required for these current ESYO members. New members may also join this ESYO program based upon a successful audition. If you are interested in joining ESYO as a new member to participate in the Chamber Music program, please complete the Chamber Music Audition Form before completing registration.
