Children's yoga is a dynamic, lively practice brimming with energy and creativity. It offers a space for children to express themselves through play, movement, music, dance, and interaction with peers. Yoga caters to every child, irrespective of their interest in traditional sports.
What Happens in a Kids Yoga Class?
Our classes blend calming breathing exercises, yoga sequences, dance, crafting, play, storytelling, mindfulness, affirmations, and guided relaxation. These activities nurture a sense of calmness, connection, creativity, and overall well-being in young minds and bodies. Our Early Years classes align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Session Durations:
15-minute classes for ages 2-3
20-minute classes for ages 3-4
30-minute classes for ages 4-5

Consistency and Coverage:
Sessions will be conducted by the same instructor (Miss Ash) at consistent times each week to promote continuity and successful transitions. In the event of instructor unavailability, a cover instructor or makeup class will be arranged.
Sickness and Holidays:
Cover instructors or makeup classes will be provided in case of instructor illness. Instructor holidays will be communicated in advance, with details of the covering instructor. Classes will not be held on public holidays, with efforts made to reschedule.
Invoicing:
Monthly accounts for yoga classes will be issued by the instructor, with payments due on the 1st of each month.
Incursions:
One-off incursions can be arranged upon request, with bookings made through the instructor or via email. Incursion sessions run for 45 minutes.
Documentation:
The instructor is self-employed and will provide necessary documents such as the Working With Children Check/Blue Card, personal public liability insurance certificates, and first aid certificates.
