Residency & Occupancy Requirements:
In order for a student to be registered at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, the student must reside in either the town of Lincoln or town of Sudbury, or be a member of the Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity (METCO) program.
For proof of residency, the following documents are required as proof of being a Lincoln, Sudbury or Boston resident. Please note that post office box addresses will not be accepted.
For homeowners: Most recent property tax bill, mortgage statement, deed, or fully signed and executed Purchase & Sale (P&S) agreement (provided the occupancy date occures before a student can be enrolled in the district).
For renters: A lease and/or Rental Agreement signed by both the landlord and tenant, indicating the names of the tenants (including student/s), and the effective dates of the agreement. If a lease or rental agreement is not available, then a legal notarized residency affidavit affirming tenancy and address where the student resides will be required. When a lease expires, a new lease must be shared with the Registrar.
For proof of occupancy, the following is required as proof of occupying an address in Lincoln, Sudbury or Boston.
For homeowners and renters: A utility bill issued within the last 60 days (fuel, electric or water bill). In the case of families who have not yet moved into the property at the time of registration, a service agreement or turn on statement from utility company can be provided. Within 30 days, an updated bill must be submitted to Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Should a bill not be provided, students may be required to withdraw from school.
