By submitting this proposal, I wholeheartedly commit to the following terms if selected as a presenter for the 2024 Changing the Narrative Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Conference:
1. Attendance and Orientation:
- I pledge to attend one of the required speaker orientations to align my presentation with the conference objectives.
2. Presentation Materials:
- You can bring a thumb drive or submit your presentation to us.
3. Travel and Accommodation:
- I understand and acknowledge that I am responsible for arranging and covering my travel and accommodation expenses.
4. Rights and Content:
- I affirm that the proposed presentation and its content are within my right to present, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
5. Registration:
- If selected, I commit to registering as a presenter before the specified deadline, details of which will be shared upon acceptance.
6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
- I am dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through my role as a speaker, both in the development of workshop materials and during the actual presentation.
7. Non-Solicitation Policy:
- I understand that any marketing or sales activities, including the promotion of products or services, must be confined to the vendor exhibition area if I have contracted a booth. Conference presentations will not be utilized for sales purposes, ensuring a focus on educational content.
8. Vendor Application:
- If interested in being a vendor, I will follow the proper procedure by filling out the vendor application at kbflc.org/events.
19. Compliance and Consequences:
- I am aware that failure to adhere to these requirements may lead to my removal as a workshop presenter for the 2024 Changing the Narrative Domestic Violence Conference and may impact future opportunities at KBFLC events.
