Summer Enrichment Camp Registration

EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy has 4 weeks of SUMMER FUN to choose from for your child! OR, register for more than 1 week and get the ultimate summer enrichment camp experience! 

What is our enrichment camp like?

It is 5 days of summer camp fun but through an Occupational Therapy lens. This means, each camp week is staffed with a team of pediatric specialists; and we offer a high ratio of adult to child so your child can be fully supported to do what camp is all about - have fun and play!

Who is this camp for? 

Our Enrichment Camp is for anyone who feels their child would benefit from some additional support & structure, but is still wanting them to experience traditional summer camp! 

Does your child receive therapy services during the school year? If so, this is a great opportunity to give your child the "camp" experience but in a supported environment!

Our camp focuses on supporting kid’s social emotional skills through structured social thinking activities as well as supported free play. As a caregiver, you will get a Shared Picture Album link where our team will upload pictures from camp each day. This way, you will feel connected to how your kid is doing and be able to see what they are particpating in each day!

Camp is 100% outdoors, helping connect kids to nature and each other through outdoor exploration. Games and activities are modified so that all children can participate.

Enrichment camp is not a free for all. It’s not a black box where you wonder what happened all day. It’s not a camp where you are worried your kid is going to cry all day or that you’re going to get a call to pick them up early because we are all pediatric specialists & are well equipped for challenges that may arise. We are there to support your child, as well as answer questions and provide feedback for the families. 

Cost: The price for 1 week of camp is $450. We offer sibling discounts! 

Location: Our camp is located at the Couch Beach Trail in Marshfield, MA 02050. 

Dates: 

Week 1: June 24-28, 9am-12pm - FULL; waitlist is available 

Week 2: July 8-12, 9am-12pm - FULL; waitlist is available 

Week 3: July 15-19, 9am-12pm - 6 SPOTS REMAIN

Week 4: July 22-26, 9am-12pm - 3 SPOTS REMAIN

Registration Process: Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 48 hours. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of registration. The balance remainder will be due 8 weeks prior to the start of camp. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your registration before March 1, 2024, there will be no fee or penalty. If you cancel your registration after March 1, 2024, a 25% processing fee will occur.  

Additional Requirement: Your child must attend camp with appropriate gear. They will need a backpack that has a secure chest strap so they can wear their backpack down the trail and back at the end of camp. We do not have enough staff or room on the wagon to carry every child's backpack. Additionally, your child will need snack, water, sunscreen, bug spray, a change of clothes and a towel.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy ., I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy . and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy. including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all sports activities, including basketball. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures, paralysis, or death.

Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent and/or Guardian of the named child, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for the named athlete. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

Permission is also granted to EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy and its affiliates including Directors, Staff, and Team Volunteers to provide the needed emergency treatment prior to the child’s admission to the medical facility.

Release authorized on the dates and/or duration of the registered season.

This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child, in my absence.

Confirmation

BY ACKNOWLEDGING AND SIGNING BELOW, I AM DELIVERING AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE THAT WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.
