PLEASE READ COMPLETELY-This is the only way that we consider potential students for admission.

25-26 Student Admissions: Please utilize this form if you are interested in a spot for the upcoming instructional year. In December 2024, we will start the reenrollment process for current students. In January 2025, we offer spots to siblings first before we open up spots to students on our waitlist, then our 25-26 Student Admissions Interest Form We are a small school, so we do not expect many openings but we will contact those families that have completed this form and are interested in 24-25 enrollment in mid January to the first part of February 2025.

24-25 Student Admissions: Thank you for your interest in the 24-25 Instructional Year. We are a small, holistic faith based school. Currently, we have the following openings for the 24-25 instructional year:

Inclusion Classes Due to opening up new classrooms over the summer, we are happy to announce we have one opening in each of the following grades:

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th

What is an inclusion classroom? At our school, an inclusion classroom means that some students may need additional academic supports (remedial or gifted-not behavioral) & all students benefit from our faith based, holistic (hands on, project-based learning with lots of outside time for all grade levels-weather permitting) education model. Additionally, our student/staff ratio supports optimal learning opportunities.

ESE Classroom At our school, an ESE classroom is comprised of 4th-12th grade students that may have one or more learning disorders, intellectual disability, or just need more academic (not behavioral) support than our inclusion classroom setting can provide. ESE students benefit from our faith based, holistic, hands on, project-based learning model.Most students in our ESE classroom are working at a 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade level

Waitlist We do our best to update this form as often as possible, however, there may be other classes that go on waitlist.

Inclusion: Kindergarten, 5th, 7th-12th grade/ESE Classroom: 4th-12th

Before/After Care We do not offer before and after care, however, ONG’S TAEKWONDO ACADEMY does offer before and aftercare (and transports students to/from their location) for a fee. Please visit their website for more information by clicking here.

To Be Considered For Enrollment You must submit this form completely to be considered for enrollment form for openings now or in the future. Also, all students seeking admission must spend at minimum one week "trialing" in a classroom and complete STAR assessments to determine if Ocala Preparatory Academy is a good fit. During the summer, a minimum of two weeks trialing is requirement. If your child has a 504, IEP (noting we are not required to follow IEPs), or any other supports needed, this must be disclosed on this form.

SUFS Choice Scholarships Accepted We accept SUFS (we do not accept AAA Scholarships) FTC, Empowerment, HOPE and the Unique Abilities Scholarship. Please note that parents are required to pay out of pocket costs for tuition and fees. If you are unable to pay out of pocket costs for enrollment, please make sure that you talk to family, churches or businesses to make sure that someone can pay these costs or kindly do not submit a student interest list form. Parent Partnership (exerpt from our policy) We believe that a positive constructive working relationship between our staff & a student’s parents/guardians is essential to the fulfillment of our mission. As a community, it is important that we all collectively engage in an affirming, encouraging atmosphere. Hours of Operation August-May 8:45am-2:15pm Monday-Friday June 8:40am-12:15pm Tuesday-Friday.

We are closed during the following times and will not respond during these periods: Spring Break, Good Friday (1/2 day), the last week in May, the entire month of JULY, the first TWO weeks in August, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Break, staff work days major holidays,inclement weather, etc.

Tuition & other program fee credits are not available for vacations, holidays, or illnesses. A 45 day notice applies to any student withdrawals (tuition must be paid during the 45 day notice).

There are incidental fees and parent participation monthly tuition fees not covered by choice scholarships (rare exceptions apply). Out of pocket costs for incidentals for the 24-25 instructional year (subject to change for the 25-26 instructional year) total $760. Non Refundable Application fee is $150 (due if we consider your child for "trial" enrollment), Non Refundable and Registration Fee is $150 (due if your child is accepted for admission to Ocala Preparatory Academy), No. Refundable Supply/Book Fee $300 (due if your child is accepted for admission to Ocala Preparatory Academy) and Non Refundable Uniform Bundle $160 (due if your child is accepted for admission to Ocala Preparatory Academy), plus parent portion tuition (billed monthly) that is charged after scholarship funding is confirmed (there is more monthly parent financial participation for FTC and EO scholarship recipients, less parent financial participation for UA recipients).
