Columbia City Gallery is an inclusive artist-run collective gallery. The Gallery is a program of SEEDArts, which builds community by presenting diverse arts experiences, nurturing local artists, and infusing creativity into our neighborhoods. We offer visual, performing, media, and public art programs in Southeast Seattle that support and sustain artists, inspire and connect residents, and revitalize community.

Applicants must be artists, working in 2D and/or 3D.

Images of your artwork

Please attach 6 jpeg images of a cohesive body of work created in the past two years. If you need information about resizing images, visit How To Resize Images And Photos In Windows (howtogeek.com).

Specifications for photos:
- Resize your image to 72 ppi (pixels per inch)
- No more than 900 PIXELS ON LARGEST SIDE
- Label your image files using the following EXACT format:
  - LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME-_TITLE_MEDIUM__ HxWxD _YEAR.JPG
  - Photo file names cannot have asterisks, spaces, or commas.
  - Dimensions to be stated in HxWxD (Height, Width, Depth) format.
  - No fractions or decimals.
  - Photos should be cropped so picture frames and unnecessary backgrounds are not visible.

Thank you so much for applying to Columbia City Gallery. Once we have reviewed your application, we will get in touch with you to let you know whether we will invite you to bring samples of your work for jury at our monthly membership meeting, held on the second Tuesday of each month. After the jury of your artwork, if approved, you will be invited for a final interview before acceptance into gallery membership.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Those submitted by the 20th, will be considered for the next month’s application round. Please allow 1-3 business days to receive confirmation of your application being received.
