Thank you for your interest in our education programs at Dane County Humane Society! We strive to provide educational opportunities for all children as funds allow.
- Tuition assistance funds are limited. Assistance will be awarded until all available funds are exhausted.
- Tuition assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- An application does not guarantee a spot in a program.
- Tuition assistance is awarded for a camper to attend one camp session and more than one child in a family may be awarded if funds are available.
- Receiving a scholarship for one year does not guarantee tuition assistance for future years nor does it make you ineligible in future years.
- Transportation to and from camp is not provided and must be arranged by a parent/guardian.
- Meals and snacks are not provided for summer camp, so campers must bring their own lunch and snack(s).
- No call/no show makes your child(ren) ineligble for future camp sessions.
If you are waiting to hear about your scholarship application and want to ensure your camper gets a spot in Camp Pawprint, please feel free to sign up for the dates of camp you are interested in.
If you are awarded camp tuition assistance, we will refund the registration fee (in full or in part, depending on the tuition assistance awarded).
Completing this Tuition Assistance Application does not guarantee a spot in the program, and it does not guarantee that assistance will be awarded. Registering for camp ahead of time will not impact your eligibility or chances of being awarded.
If you have any questions or need help in completing the forms, please contact Micaela Magel, Humane Educator, at camp@giveshelter.org
