GENERAL TERMS
1. By requesting the services of HICE, you are also agreeing to:
a. Any art work and final products to be used for marketing and advertising on any social platforms utilised. Posting of final products will not occur before delivery or pick up. In the case of a specific event, the images will not be posted prior to the date of the event, unless explicitly indicated by the client.
b. Our logo and/or contact details being affixed to final products
2. You may be contacted to provide a review, but this is purely optional.
3. To place an order, please provide the details in the above form must be completed.
4. Personalised or customised orders cannot be exchanged, returned or cancelled once production has commenced based on approved details.
5. If mocks ups are requested, this will attract a non-refundable fee starting at $15 fee which must be paid in advance before any art work can commence. This fee is deducted from the deposit that is required to commence jobs.
6. Delivery or pick up is generally between 3-14 business days. However, depending on the extent of the personalisation or quantity, this time period may be longer or shorter but you will be informed in advance.
7. For wine/whiskey/drinking glasses, H.I.C.E will provide such items as a full package due to the fact lasering or etching is done by a laser and would require the materials to be a certain thickness. If the client still prefers to supply their own wine/whiskey/drinking glasses, H.I.C.E will not accept any responsibility for any damage sustained to the item during the engraving process, as some glasses carry defects that is only revealed during that process.
8. For wood items, it is to be understood that:
a. painting or varnishing of items would protect it from dust and dirt, maintaining its beauty for years
b. any items that remain in its natural form, will have variations due to the natural grain of the wood
c. as it relates to wood, items may show defects (i.e. knots, cracks, etc)
9. Depending on the manufactured composition of the items provided by clients to be engraved, H.I.C.E will not be accepting liability for any damages to the item, as we have no control over the machine during production. However, all efforts will be made to ascertain the type of material(s) in advance, to advise whether the desired product can actually be engraved, withstand the heat temperatures of the laser or ability of the machine to maintain the product in a stable position while being engraved or cut.
10. PAYMENTS TERMS
a. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence production of the final product.
b. The final 50% must be paid on or before the specified delivery or pick up date via any of our payment methods indicated on your invoice.
