2024-2025 Registration Information

We are glad that you would like to become a part of the Saint Andrews Preschool family! This online registration form is for the 2024-2025 school year. If you prefer a paper copy or have any questions about registration, please email our director, Marj Jenkins, at mjenkins@sapc.com.

We encourage you to read through these instructions thoroughly and ask questions before completing the form. Once you have submitted your form, you may make changes by contacting the preschool office at 919-847-9956.

Please complete a separate form for each child.  

 

STEP ONE:  Choose your class

Please indicate your 1st and 2nd choice classes. Check your first choice and write in your second choice.

Our birthdate cut-off is August 31, 2024. Toddlers must be 15 months old on or before this date. All other children must be the age of the class for which they are registering by this date.

Only children who are five by August 31 may register for the Transitional K class. Others may be placed in this class upon discretion of the director.

We reserve the right to maintain a reasonable boy/girl ratio in each class. All children in Threes classes must be able to use the bathroom independently. Toddlers must be walking when school begins.

If space allows, toddlers and twos may register for two classes (MWF and T/TH) to create a five-day (M-F) option.

For currently-enrolled families, we will use the following point system in cases where two or more children request the same class and there is only one opening:

One point for active Saint Andrews church membership.

One point for each year this child has been enrolled in the program.

One point for each year a sibling has been enrolled in the program, past and present.

If all priorities are considered and two or more children still meet them equally, we will draw names to determine who will get the available space. The right to maintain a reasonable boy/girl ratio in each class will be considered along with all other priorities.

All applications received by the appropriate deadline will be considered for the initial round of registration. In the event that there are more applications than open spots in a particular class, we will draw names lottery- style to fill the class. Those who do not get a spot will be placed on a wait list and informed as soon as space is available.

After February 1, 2024, any remaining spots will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. If the class you would like is fully-enrolled, we will place you on a wait list and inform you as soon as a space is available.

STEP TWO: Registration Fee

A registration fee based on your 1st choice class must accompany your form.

The registration fee corresponds to the number of days/week a child attends preschool. It is a separate fee and does not take the place of a tuition payment. Tuition payments are made monthly beginning in August 2024 and ending in April 2025. Tuition invoices are sent out on or near the first of each month. Payments made after the 10th of the month will incur a late fee.

If your child is placed in your second-choice class, we will make an appropriate adjustment to your registration fee. If we are not able to place your child on a class lists, your registration fee will be returned.  If your child is accepted, but you decide not to place him/her at Saint Andrews, your registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

2024-2025 Registration/Monthly Tuition Fees

 2 days/week:  $270

3 days/week:  $360

4 days/week:  $420

5 days/week:  $450

5-day Toddlers and Twos:  $515

Priority registration for church members and siblings of previously-enrolled students:

MOVEMENT EDUCATION CONSENT

I hereby give permission for my child to participate in the Music and Movement Class at Saint Andrews Preschool. I recognize that injuries can occur in any activity which involves motion. In consideration for allowing my child to participate in movement education I release Saint Andrews Preschool and staff from any and all liability for injuries suffered by my child while under the instruction or supervision of Saint Andrews staff and I agree not to sue for any such injury. This acknowledgment of risk and waiver of liability has been read and understood and is signed voluntarily.

CURRENTLY-ENROLLED FAMILIES: We will invoice you through Procare for your registration fee. You may hand deliver your payment to the preschool or submit your payment electronically.

NEW FAMILIES: Please hand deliver your payment to the preschool or submit your check by mail. We will set up a Procare account for you after registration is completed and payment is received.

Registration will be considered complete when payment is received.

If your child is placed in your second-choice class, we will make an appropriate adjustment to your registration fee. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE unless your family moves to another town and notifies us prior to moving. Registration fees will be returned if we are not able to place your child on a class list. If your child is accepted, but you decide not to place him/her at Saint Andrews, your registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
