    Completed application form and a copy of student transcripts.

    Optional: One letter of support from a teacher; one letter of support from an advisor, coach, clergy member, administrator, or community member in support of applicant’s general worthiness of scholarship aid.

     Application Deadline:  Friday, March 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

    The Business Leaders of Blue Mountain Scholarship Award is a $1,000.00 award established by businesses and individuals to assist students pursuing a degree in the field(s) of Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance/Accounting, Marketing, or other related areas. Applicants must demonstrate community and school involvement through clubs/organizations, participate in sports and/or extracurricular activities, and maintain a GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must  submit a resume. Additionally, applicants must write an essay describing how their involvement in the community or organizations will help them succeed in the business world. Please use the STARR method when answering the prompt.

    S: Situation - what was happening

    T: Task - what did you need to do in the situation?

    A: Action - what specific action did you take to solve?

    R: Result - what was the result of your action?

    R: Reflection - what did you learn from this situation?

    When reviewing your application, we want to get to know you as well as we can. There is a limit to what grades and test scores can tell us so we ask you to answer a series of short answer essays. Use this opportunity to introduce yourself to the Awards Committee. Be open and honest. What you tell us in your essays allows us to better understand the information you have provided in your application.

    Applications will be reviewed in early April, and applicants will be notified shortly after. If selected for this award, the Eagle Foundation Academic Awards Banquet will be held on the evening of Wednesday April 29, 2026. More details to follow.
