  • Collegiate Leadership Competition Assumption of Risk & Release

In consideration for receiving permission to participate in Collegiate Leadership Competition, I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Collegiate Leadership Competition, its officers, agents, or employees (“Releasees”) from any and all liability whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in such activities, regardless of whether such loss is caused by the negligence of the Releasees, or otherwise.

  • Host Institution Assumption of Risk & Release

I agree that I am voluntarily participating in the Collegiate Leadership Competition at the host institution in the region identified above. I am aware that participating in this event requires participants to provide their own transportation to the host campus for the competition. I understand that the event involves academic activities as well as my presence and walking or traversing on the host campus. If the event involves any physical activity, I am physically able to participate in this activity and have consulted with my physician about any questions I have about my ability to participate. I understand that participating in this event involves certain risks, including the risk of personal injury and/or risk of personal property loss or damage. I understand that the host institution is organizing the event on its campus, but the host is not responsible for any other activities that participants engage in -- including but not limited to travel to and from the competition, any overnight stays, or any off-campus events or activities – occurring at any time other than during the actual competition on the host's campus. I understand that participation in this event is voluntary, and I wish to participate despite any risks and this Release.

  • MOBTS Policy on Harassment and Assault

Harassment and assault are forms of professional misconduct that impede us as individuals, and as a professional community, in fulfilling the mission of the Management & Organizational Behavior Teaching Society (“MOBTS” or the “Society”). The mission of the Society is to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the management disciplines. MOBTS affirms its mission through an obligation and commitment to foster and support a professional environment whereby recognizing that failure to do so harms our profession, our professional credibility, the wellbeing of individuals, and the broader communities in which we live and work.
