This Agreement is made today between the Parent [Client] and Sitter Network [Service Provider].
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Sitter Network is your personal team or village of vetted babysitters that provides childcare to over 1,000 families in Nassau County. We are a close team of babysitters who have years of experience, our own transportation, and a love of childcare.
After joining Sitter Network, you may request for a babysitter through our website. After the babysitting reservation is confirmed, you can view the babysitter’s profile after the babysitter has been assigned to you. Babysitters arrive 15 to 20 minutes earlier at no extra charge on their first time babysitting for you, this way you can formally meet the babysitter and introduce them to your children before you leave.
Because of liability and scheduling concerns, babysitters and parents can leave all scheduling, cancellations, and time changes to Sitter Network. Parents and babysitters are not allowed to text or call each other outside of the babysitting reservation.
Parents may receive a notification of a change in schedule if an originally assigned babysitter becomes sick or unavailable as we try our best to ensure that every family stays accommodated that made a reservation.
Our babysitting team is over the age of 18 and we are all pet friendly. We don’t mind driving children to activities as long as gas is compensated.
Sitter Network can always accommodate occasional and date night childcare needs. Many parents use us as needed, a few times a month, date nights; or backup if their regular nanny is unavailable. We respect any decision you make about using us!
Our team members have either full time jobs, part time jobs, internships, or college classes as their primary obligation so babysitting is something that our team does for fun and extra money. You’re more than welcome to request your favorite babysitter or babysitters that you’ve had babysit for you prior! Just be advised if the requested babysitter is not available, you will be assigned to a babysitter who is.
In the event of inclement weather conditions or environment (such as a state emergency) that is too dangerous for a babysitter to travel in, Sitter Network may notify a parent that a reservation has been canceled.
Babysitting reservations should not be intended for lifeguarding, housekeeping, tutoring, or party help. If a babysitter arrives at a reservation and this comes to light, the babysitter will be instructed to leave the reservation and the parent will be charged a cancellation fee.
Parents agree that if any of the above listed terms and conditions are not followed, Sitter Network may suspend or terminate the user’s account.
After agreeing to the above listed Terms and Conditions, parents will be redirected to pay an application and will be required to complete a background check. The application fee is non refundable regardless of the results of the background check.
