What Is The DPW Roundup, Anyway?
This is a way for us to gather the info that we need to support our people. If you have been approved by a DPW Manager to come work with us this year, or are a returning DPW Veteran in good standing looking for a spot, you need to fill it out. Everyone fills it out, every year.
What kinds of questions are there:
- Essentials: Legal name, Contact info, Emergency info
- Background info, what you bring with you in terms of experience
- An affirmation that you'll abide by our rules and standards
What we'll do with the info:
- Make sure every crew member gets access to the support they need to work and live on playa
- Reach out to folks off playa, as needed
- Make sure people are remembered from year to year (and week to week during our hectic recruiting process)
- Get you a BMID
- Add you to the appropriate DPW mailing lists
- Share it with emergency support staff as needed
What we won't do with this info:
- Sell it to anyone or post it in a public place
What happens when you hit SUBMIT at the bottom:
- Your info gets sent to the DPW Personnel team who check it against the roster and arrange for you to get a BMID, work credentials, a vehicle pass, swag, commissary/showers access, and/or sign you up to the dpw-work-list as appropriate.
- You are NOT automatically added to the DPW roster. That will happen if the manager of a specific crew adds you to their roster. Go here for a list of crews.
