VOLUNTEER ROLES

An outline of each area and the types of tasks involved is below:

Front of House / Reception
- Meeting and greeting ; directing and providing room access to customer
- Ensure general cleanliness to Front desk area
- Answering phone/ taking messages
- Support to Café staff – clearing tables during busy periods
Cleaning
- Cleaning of corridors and toilets
- Cleaning of Oak, Ash, Hawthorn rooms as required post events
- Emptying indoor corridor bins as required
Outdoors / Grounds / Garden
- Tidying up site as required – empty outdoor bins weeding
- Path gritting
- Planting and maintenance of tubs
- Clearance leaves – autumn/ winter
- Grass cutting – Spring /Summer ( person must have experience in use of grass cutting
  equipment)
Events
- Meeting and greet hire or event customers; directing and providing general information to
  customers
- Support to staff team with box office tickets ( Rockfield Events)
- Support to room hirers – set up of tea/coffee/ bar as required
- Room dismantle; cleaning post events
