I hereby apply for membership in the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care’s PRRC and/or LARS Committees. I agree that I am not a member of the PSRC. If approved for membership in the PRRC and/or LARS, I will abide by its bylaws and professional code of ethics.
The membership term is 1 year, starting on January 1st of calendar year and ending on December 31st of calendar year. Fees are non-refundable. Membership is non-transferable.
I will have access to all PRRC and/or LARS activities during my membership year.
I will maintain privacy of PRRC and/or LARS.
I confirm that all the information contained in the Membership Form is true.
The purpose and mission of both LARS and PRRC are listed below.
LARS:
· The LARS committee provides a forum for Leaders and Educators from varying institutions of varying experience levels to promote open conversations regarding the advancement of the respiratory profession. A steering committee consisting of experienced leaders and educators will assist with prioritizing agendas and needs of LARS in conjunction with the AARC BOD.
Purpose
· Mentorship providing structure(s) and process(es) enabling Respiratory Care Leaders to actively participate in institutional, state, and national leadership development.
· Develop and facilitate forums where Respiratory professionals can vet current strategic, staffing, and financial based questions as they relate to Leadership, Clinical practice, and data reporting.
· Provide professional development opportunities in Leadership and Management.
· Working with PRRC, develop Respiratory Care driven Quality and Safety initiative measures for institutional comparison state-wide helping provide the highest quality care
PRRC:
· Facilitate Respiratory driven Research and Quality Improvement (QI) that fosters mentorship and collaboration among Respiratory Care Professionals.
Purpose
· To provide a forum, both online and in person, for respiratory therapists of all experience levels from every size institution to come together and have open conversations regarding respiratory care research and QI. A steering committee consisting of experienced researchers will assist with prioritizing the agenda of the collaborative and needs of the PSRC.
