A-BEAUTIFUL POOLS, INC AGREES TO:
- Employ person in the position of Lifeguard, Head Lifeguard, Assistant Manager, Manager or Substitute Lifeguard. From here on out in this agreement all positions will be covered under the term “Lifeguard”.
- Employ person as a Lifeguard beginning May 1, 2024 and ending on September 30, 2024.
- Compensate the employee based on the PayScale detailed below.
- Pay the employee additional compensation based on the detailed information below.
- Provide employee with certification credentials following Summer 2024 Summer Season.
LIFEGUARD CLASSIFICATION
- New lifeguards are newly certified lifeguard (current season certification) and have never been a lifeguard for A-Beautiful Pools, Inc.
- Subsequent year lifeguards have not had a lapse in their certification and have worked for A-Beautiful Pools, Inc. or another entity or business for at least one previous season. To achieve this status for compensation employee must have worked over 150 hours as a lifeguard in the previous season. Employees who have worked for other businesses or entities will need to provide a year end document or details on the number of hours they worked lifeguarding to be eligible for a subsequent year classification.
- Subsequent year lifeguard management classifications (Assistant Managers and Managers) will need to meet the required number of hours in that same position to be eligible for subsequent year classification in those same positions.
PAYSCALE
- Lifeguard: $9.75 per hour, subsequent year Lifeguards receive a .25 - .50 cent raise (150-225 hours .25 cents, 225 and up .50 cents)
- Assistant Managers: $10.25 per hour, subsequent year Assistant Managers receive a .50 cent raise .25 - .50 cent raise (150-225 hours .25 cents, 225 and up .50 cents)
- Managers: $11.25 per hour, subsequent year Managers receive a .25 - .50 cent raise (150-225 hours .25 cents, 225 and up .50 cents)
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION
Additional compensation will be earned throughout Summer 2024 and paid on the last paycheck following agreed employment dates. Lifeguard will be able to monitor the amount of additional compensation throughout the summer in Paycom Employee Portal, updated as bonuses are earned.
- Referral Bonus: $15.00 per lifeguard you refer to work for ABP! *Both employees must meet the 150 hours requirement and complete agreed dates of employment to be eligible for bonus.
- Total Hours Bonus: Lifeguard will receive a bonus for hours worked May 1st through September 30th. $50 for 200 hours worked, $100 for 300 hours worked, $150 for 400 hours worked, $200 for 500 or more hours worked
- You WON! Bonus: Throughout the Summer Season ABP has different competitions and events and all bonus's will be paid to employees who WIN! (Examples: 4th of July decorating contest, Lifeguard Games, Lifeguard Competition, Theme Awards for Company Events, Pool and Lifeguard Recognition Awards, Social Media Challenges and Fun Friday Challenges!)
- Mid-Season Evaluation and Bonus: Mid-Season (July 15th) lifeguards will be evaluated for their job performance and a .10 cent - .30 cent per hour bonus will be applied to each hour worked after that date.
- End of Season Bonus #1: On August 12th, 2024, all lifeguards will earn an additional .50 cents more per hour and will be applied to each hour worked after that date.
- End of Season Bonus #2: On August 26th, 2024, all lifeguards will earn an additional .25 cents more per hour and will be applied to each hour worked after that date (in addition to the .50 cents earned on August 12th for a total of .75 cents more per hour)
- End of Season Bonus #3: On September 9th, 2024, all lifeguards will earn an additional .25 cents more per hour and will be applied to each hour worked after that date (in addition to the .75 cents earned on August 12th for a total of $1 more per hour)
- End of Season Bonus #4: Lifeguard will receive an end of season bonus for the hours worked August 12th through September 29th: $25 for 75 hours worked or $50 for 140 hours or more worked.
PLEASE BE ADVISED, YOU MUST WORK A MINIMUM OF 150 HOURS PER YEAR AS A LIFEGUARD AND THEY MUST BE CONSECUTIVE YEARS TO PROGRESS THROUGH THE BONUS AND COMPENSATION PROGRAM. YOUR YEARLY STATUS AND HOURLY RATE IS DETERMINED BY HOURS WORKED PER YEAR.
IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR BONUS, YOU MUST:
- Have completed, signed, and dated this agreement and have all required paperwork on file in the ABP office.
- Adhere to the Employee Operations Manual regarding guidelines, job descriptions and expectations.
- Must work a minimum of 150 total lifeguard hours the entire year. **New hires will be eligible for End of Season Bonus’s with a minimum average of 20 hours worked per week since date of hire.
- Complete and document 4 hours of in-service per month. You can not have any unexcused absences from Company In-Services.
- Not have any documented “No Show No Sub” shifts on your employment record for current season.
- Not have any write ups or been terminated as a lifeguard and/or any position at ABP.
- Lifeguard through agreed employment dates completed below. If at any point in the summer the agreed date changes upon mutual agreement, two-weeks’ notice is required, and dates will be adjusted in agreement in writing.
