Grow at Clark Gardens BBQ Cook Off will take place on Saturday, March 30th, gates open at 8:00am. This BBQ cook off is part of a festival day at Clark Gardens. There will be fun for the whole family!

1. Categories: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Side Dish, Best Showmanship.

2. Entry Fees- $25.00/Brisket; $25/Pulled Pork, and $10/Side Dish; no fee for Best Showmanship

3. All items will be cooked off site but smokers and pits may be brought on site to keep entries warm.

4. Each team will have enough of their entry to serve a bite size sample to a minimum of 300 guests.

5. Two 8-foot tables with two chairs will be provided.

6. This is an outdoor event. Feel free to bring pop up tents (keep in mind how to secure these items, so not to blow in the wind). Make sure to be kind to neighbors an not encroach into others space. Clark Gardens has the right to require any material possibly seen as profane, thretening, or unsafe to be immeditely taken down or removed off of the Clark Gardens' property. This is a non- negotiable topic. All clark Gardens staff have the right to determine hat is provane, threatening, or unsafe.

7. There is no electricity, water or hook ups provided. Teams must provide their own supplies for serving.

8. Clark Gadens will provide the tasting cups and forks. Each team will have the tasting cups and forks at thir station.

9. Prizes: Brisket- 1st, 2nd, 3rd; Pulled Pork- 1st, 2nd, 3rd; Side Dish- 1st, 2nd, 3rd; Best Showmanship- 1st place only

10. Public Voted Awards- The first 300 guests will be able to vote

11. Samples will be available for judgig from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Results will be announced at 3:00pm.

12. Check in and set-up time is between 8:00am and 11:30am

13. Each team is responsible for keeping their area clean; all materials should be removed from your assigned area by 4:30pm

14. This is a family friendly event. To help draw in a large crwod, on this same day, Clark Gardens is hostin an egg hunt, vehicle & motorcycle show, plant sale, fun for the children with bounce house, petting zoo and more!
