Youth Participants: Please select your top (7) activity choices. Participants will be scheduled for up to (5) sessions at the event, depending scheduled length of each activity. Sessions are filled on a first come, first serve in order of Jotform submission. Adult Participants: There are (6) sessions for Adult Participants, you may select as many as you would like and will be scheduled for up to (5) sessions for the day.

(Grades K-3) Kaleidoscope Craft: During this session you will learn the science behind how a kaleidoscope works by using mirrors and light to create repeating, symmetrical patterns.
(Grades K-3) Edible Kaleidoscopes: Be the talk of the party this summer with almost too-pretty-to-eat treats! Using fresh fruits and veggies to make a colorful fruit pizza and pinwheel, you will learn the basics of knife safety and food prep skills.
(Grades K-3) DIY Pollinator Habitats: Make your own pollinator habitats! You'll use string and bamboo canes to create a bee hotel to hang in your yard or garden.
(Grades K-5) Fossils: Dig, create, investigate! Learn all about fossils through hands-on activities. Participants will discover the process of fossilization and the 5 main types of fossils. They will examine real marine fossils from the Duluth Children's Museum collection and then will create trace fossils to take home.
(Grades K-12, Adults) Yoga: Find your "inner calm" as you practice yoga and mindfulness with a certified instructor. Specific activities will be catered towards the age group of each session.
(Grades K-12) Otter Games: Did you forget how to play all of your favorite camp games? Brush up on the rules and run around with Otter, our Roundelay Camp Director!
(Grades K-12) Soccer: Ready, set, score! Learn the basics of soccer and how to work as a team in this activity.
(Grades 2-5) Intro to Fly Tying: Learn the basics of fly tying and tie your own fly! Imitate bugs and bait fish using fur, feathers, and artificial materials. This session will be a step-by-step lesson where you learn the basic terms and methods for tying flies.
(Grades 2-12, Adults) Archery: Ready, aim, bullseye! Whether you're brand new to archery, or want more practice, this session will let you work on your skills and maybe learn something new.
(Grades 2-12) Climbing Wall: Climb on! Test your limits as you scale the rock wall. Can you make it to the top?
(Grades 2-12) Self Defense: Learn the basics of self-defense in this interactive session! Participants will become familiar with techniques to keep themselves safe including awareness of their surroundings, avoiding dangerous situations, and calling for help in an emergency.
(Grades 2-12) Metal Working: Be careful during this hot session of melting metals to create something new!
(Grades 4-12) Fly Tying 101: Learn the basics of fly tying and tie your own fly! Imitate bugs and bait fish using fur, feathers, and artificial materials. This session will be a step-by-step lesson where you will learn the basic terms and methods for tying flies. THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE TWO SESSIONS IN LENGTH
(Grades 4-12) Mammals & Adaptations: Calling all animal lovers! Learn about native animals and explore their unique traits through hands-on activities and group games.
(Grades 4-12) Pressed Flower Art: Learn about proper flower and plant harvesting, drying, and pressing, and how to produce works of art with the final product. Nature is beautiful and can be responsibly used to create thoughtful gifts, jewelry, and home décor!
(Grades 4-12, Adults) Charcuterie Board Making: Wow friends and family with your charcuterie skills! You'll learn how to create works of art using meat, cheese, fruit, nuts, artisan crackers, and more for social occasions and mealtimes. You'll leave with a little charcuterie history, a mini to-go snack to enjoy later at home, and the skills to continue making your own boards.
(Grades 4-12) String Art: How creative can you get with a hammer and nails? Learn new skills and create your own unique string art in this woodworking session!
(Grades 6-12, Adults) Macrame Plant Hanger: Learn the classic art of macrame knot tying and create a plant hanger for your home or the perfect Mother's Day gift. The instruction you'll receive will allow you to continue making handmade gifts and home décor for years to come!
(Adults Only) CPR/First Aid Training: Participants who successfully complete this training course will receive their American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED Certification. This is a blended learning course that includes required pre-course work online and the completion of hands-on skills through scenarios in-person. THIS TRAINING WILL TAKE 3-4 HOURS TO COMPLETE AND WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR THE AFTERNOON.
(Adults Only) Lakes & Pines Q & A: Join our council staff for a guided Q&A session to learn all things Girl Scouts! Discussion topics will include council programs and events, highest awards, council travel, navigating the VTK, and more.
