Zippity Zoo Fest will begin promptly at 9:30 am on April 5 + 6, 2025. To ensure that all on-site activity set up is completed by the event's start, please arrive no later than 8:00 am. Remember that we have multiple vendors who will be setting up at this time, so the earlier you arrive, the easier it will be for everyone. If you would like to set up the day before the event, call Brittany at 225-778-4007 to set up a time.
DRIVING VEHICLES WHILE ON BREC'S BATON ROUGE ZOO GROUNDS
As part of our continuing effort for utmost visitor safety and the well-being of our animals, a copy of your company or personal vehicle insurance will be needed to be able to drive on Zoo property. Please send to Brittany.Tully@brzoo.org.

Vehicular Traffic Festival Load-in/out Policy:

As of August 2014, any vendor requiring the use of a motor vehicle of any type to access designated locations for setup will be mandated to follow designated routes while inside the grounds of BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo.

NOTE: Any deviation from this mandatory policy will result in a review of the vendor's opportunity to return to any BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo/BR Zoo Foundation event or festival.

Vendors must follow pre-determined routes marked by signs/barricades/stanchions for load in/out. Prior to entering the service gate, vendors must be escorted by an employee of BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo or BR Zoo Foundation, turn on emergency lights and proceed at a speed limit of 5 miles per hour. The vendor must follow directly behind the escort and may not deviate from the permissible driving areas. To exit after unloading, vendor must be escorted out by an employee of BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo or the BR Zoo Foundation, turn on emergency lights and proceed at a speed limit of 5 miles per hour, drive straight ahead staying on paved surfaces and proceed out of the same service gate used upon entrance.
