TERMS AND CONDITIONS&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Please take time to read the following important information regarding the wireless car protector / antihijack system:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;1.      It is your responsibility to understand how your wireless car protector unit works, what services you pay for and to make sure that your unit is in working order. You can get information on this on the Trekit365 website or by calling us on 0645406457.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;2.      Note that the wireless car protector unit is NOT ON A CONTRACT. Once purchased the unit now belongs to you. You are not required therefore to pay monthly for this unit. Once of payment is done on the wireless car protector.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;3.      Wireless Car Protector Unit Installation is done at any approved Trekit365 installation centres or workshops. If a client wants the technician to come to their premises, then a callout fee will apply based on the KMs to be covered to and from the client premises.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;4.      The wireless car protector unit has a 6 months warranty on factory default starting from the date that we install it.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;4.1. When the warranty applies&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The warranty covers repairs to the unit if it stops working properly because of defective parts, workmanship or design. We will fix or replace the unit at no cost to you.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;4.2.  When the warranty does not apply&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The warranty does not apply in any of the following circumstances:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;a) Anyone tampered with or changed the unit or the way it was installed;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;b) Someone that we did not authorise repaired or tried to repair the unit or the way it was installed;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;c) The problem was caused by damage from water;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;d) The problem was caused by abuse of the unit;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;e) The problem was caused by a collision (for example, a car accident);&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;f) If the defect in the unit was not caused by us, or by the manufacturer, importer, distributor or retailer;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;g) If the defect happened or was reported to us after the 6-months warranty period ended, if applicable&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;5.      Any repair not covered by the warranty terms and conditions above will cost a minimum of R450 once off. This fee will be revised every year. All repairs to be done at any approved Trekit365 installation centres or workshops.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;6.      Unit Sensors&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;6.1. Two sensors are provided after installation. Only one sensor can be used at a time and the second one is a spare sensor.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;6.2. The client is advised to change the sensor battery once a year or when the vehicle constantly cut off due to low battery power.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;6.3. Replacement sensor will cost R300. This fee will include new sensor programming.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;6.4. Battery for the sensor will cost R50.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;6.5. If both sensors are lost or damaged, the client will be required to purchase a new Wireless Car Protector Unit at original cost of the unit.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;7.      If the unit or its installation affects the operation of or damages the vehicle&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;We fix problems that the unit or its installation causes to the vehicle or the operation of the vehicle at our own cost but only if all six of the following conditions are met:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;a) The unit or installation damages or causes a problem to the vehicle or how it works. We have the right to appoint an expert at our cost to investigate the problem;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;b) The unit or its installation has not been changed, tampered with or repaired by anyone who does not have our authority;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;c) There has not been abuse of the unit;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;d) There has not been damage by water to the unit;&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;e) The problem was not caused by a collision (for example, a car accident)&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;f) The vehicle is brought to our workshop or installation centre&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10; &#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The Client acknowledges that Trekit365 has disclosed the features of the Wireless Car Protector product and has specifically advised how the product works. Based on these disclosures the Client acknowledges that the selected product(s) meets the Client’s expectations.
