The perfect birthday party that is easy on parents! No need to worry about rain, cleaning your house, or dreaming up party games. The Children’s Playhouse is the perfect setting for a birthday party to remember.
PLEASE NOTE: We will try to honor the date you request but other factors may affect availablity, so your party is not confirmed until you get a direct, personal email from Ellen Lewis (programdirector@goplayhouse.org).
DAY and TIME OPTIONS:
Friday 5:30-7:30 pm, Saturday 4:00-6:00 pm, Sunday afternoon (flexible time slots beginning at 1:30 pm).
PARTY INCLUDES:
● Exclusive use of the whole Playhouse for 2 hours of play and fun!
● A Playhouse assistant to help with setup and clean up.
● 20 children may attend (must provide one adult for every 4 children).
OUR POLICIES:
- Party host must sign a liability release waiver. By signing this liability release waiver, the party host is signing on behalf of all attendees of the party including all adults and children.
- Adults are responsible for supervising children, one adult per 4 children.
- Families provide decorations, food, and clean up, and all party items must stay in the kitchen/art room.
- Weather-permitting, we recommend that food should be served and eaten outside. If food or drink is consumed inside, it must be restricted to the Art Room.
- Due to severe allergies, NO NUTS or PEANUT PRODUCTS are allowed in The Children’s Playhouse.
- Alcoholic Beverages are NOT permitted at Playhouse birthday parties
- Party hosts are responsible for the safety and conduct of their guests.
- Please be respectful of the time limits. If you would like to reserve for longer than two hours, please talk to the Program Director for the rates for additional hours.

Party Extras
For an additional fee per person, all of the materials are included for one of the following crafts which make a great take-home creation for party guests. Please let Ellen Lewis (programdirector@goplayhouse.org) know if you would like to choose one of these crafts at least a week in advance of your party to ensure that we have enough supplies!
Decorate a small muslin bag for treasures- $2 per person
Make a sparkly rainbow crown- $2 per person
Be-dazzle a fantastic paper fan- $2 per person
Decorate a wooden train whistle- $3 per person
Construct and decorate a wooden model airplane- $3 per person
COST:
$175 members and $200 non-members
$25 deposit required to hold reservation; remaining balance is due the day of the party. $25 surcharge for non-sibling, shared parties.
We will collect a refundable $50 deposit on the day of the party. The refundable deposit is against damage to Playhouse property or for excessive cleaning required due to the party. Hosts are also liable if damage exceeds $50. If there is no damage, the deposit will be refunded on the next business day following the party. As a courtesy to members, the damage deposit will not be charged; however, The Children's Playhouse may still request an additional payment from members after the party if Playhouse property is damaged or excessive cleaning following the party is required.
