Thank you for your interest in The Yoga Lily;s 200 Hour Teacher Training Program. Whether your intention is to teach or just to deepen your personal practice, the training program is designed in a way that encourages an authentic exploration and genuine understanding of yoga through critical analysis and direct experience.

This training will be your personal journey. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Eight Limbs of Yoga, explore pranayama conscious awareness and use of breath, practice meditation, study the Yama and Niyama as well as teaching tools and techniques. Out of this will emerge learned and thoughtful practitioners and instructors.
 

The Yoga Lily Teacher Training Starts May 18th, NO HOLIDAYS OR HOLY DAYS

Saturday, May 18th, 9-11am, Orientation to Yoga Teacher Training

Mondays, May 20-Aug 19, 6-8:30pm: Yoga Theory (No 5/27 or 6/17)

Wednesdays, June 26-Aug 14, 6-8:30pm: Yoga Anatomy (No 7/3)

Tuesdays & Thursdays, Jul 9-Aug 22 8a-5pm: Embodiment Moreau Lake

Thursday, Aug 22th, 5-8p: Graduation Ceremony & Cookout

Flexible: Private Yoga Coaching Session, 1 hr 

Flexible: Unlimited Yoga Classes, 3 hrs

TBA: Evening of Kirtan 3 hrs

Total= 200 hours

 

Students are allowed to miss up to 8 hours of the Program. Details are provided later in this document. Kirtan will be scheduled as offerings arise in the community. Private coaching will be scheduled after you have been enrolled.

Tuition:
            $2,999 Early Bird by March 18, 2024
            $3,200 after March 18, 2024 - balance due by May 4, 2024
            $3,600 with payment plan (see further details under Policies and payment schedule)

o  all training dates, kirtan, private coaching, unlimited website membership during training
o  does not include additional required readings or state park fee ($80)
 
Application Process:
o  Fill out this application and select submit at the bottom.
o  A $500 deposit is required in order to process your application, which is deducted from the total fee. In the event you are not admitted, a $50 processing fee will be subtracted from your refund and you will be refunded $450.00.

  General Program Policies:
 
o  Applicants must be at least eighteen years of age.
o  Applicants must have been in an consistent yoga practice for at least six months and be willing to cultivate a meditation practice during the program.
o  Applicants are requested to submit this form, with the non-refundable $500 deposit, prior to May 4, 2024.
o  Students must attend and actively participate in the required training weekends.
o  Enrollment, payment and attending all program dates does not guarantee a Certificate of Completion. Students are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the program content ,with the program instructors, at the completion of the program.
o  Deposits and tuition for the program are non-refundable. Payments may be made via cash, check or credit card.
o  Students must attend a minimum of three yoga class online in addition to all scheduled training classes over the duration of the course program.

Attendance/Make-Up Policy:

If there is a need to miss any hours or sessions within the program, we request that the instructors be notified as far in advance as possible.

Students are allowed to miss up to 8 hours of training without requiring that the hours be made up. Missed learning material must be made up in order to receive the 200 Hour Certificate of Completion. For every four hours missed, the student may take a one hour private make-up session, to be scheduled with a member of the Teacher Training Team. The cost of each one hour make-up session is $150, or $75 if the make-up session is shared with another student who missed that day.

Payment Plan Policies:
o  Payment is done via auto-pay with a credit card stored on the student’s account.
o  Payment failure due to credit card rejection, will result in a penalty fee of $25.
o  Failure to make any payment within ten days of the dues date may result in ejection from the program.
o  Any prior payments are non-refundable.
 
Refund Policy:
o  The deposit and tuition are non-refundable.
o  Students who are asked to leave the program for inappropriate or unacceptable behavior will not receive a refund.

 

Injury/Sick Policy:

o Students are responsible for their own health and safety. Pam Medina, The Yoga Lily, and NYS Parks & Recreation are in no way responsible for your health, safety, or well-being during training. 

o Trainees must not perform any yoga poses or tasks that will injure themselves in anyway. You are inside your own body and are responsible to refrain from injurious behavior. 

Enrollment Policy:

o Once your application has ben processed, you will recieve a request to schedule a 15 minute discovery call to make sure we are right for the program and schedule you for your private coaching session to prepare you physically for the training. 

o After your deposit and discovery call is completed you will recieve an enrollment letter with your payment balance. 

Noncompete Clause:

o To respect our lineage and growth as teachers, there is a non-compete cluase stating that you agree not to open a yoga studio or other a yoga teacher training within 21 miles of the training site for 7 years after graduation date. 

 

 

 

Upon submission of this application, I understand that the $500 deposit for the training is non-refundable and non-transferable, and tuition is not refundable.  Furthermore, I acknowledge tht I have read this entire document, understand the absentee policy as stated herein, understand all other policies and recognize that I may not receive a teacher training completion certificate unIess all assignments, reading requirements and attendance are completed. 
 
I also grant permission to The Yoga Lily  and Pam Medina to use my whole or composite images from this training, without prior approval from me or compensation, in newsletters, promotions, manuals or books or any other lawful purposes as determined by The Yoga Lily and Pam Medina.
