Refund Request Form – Agreement to Refund Policies and Determination
Thank you for selecting My Georgia Plumber (MGP) your plumbing and gas needs. While we strive to deliver high-quality products and services, we understand that there may be circumstances necessitating a refund request. To ensure a fair and transparent process, we have established the following refund policy:
Eligibility Criteria
- Our refund policy only applies to all eligible products and services directly purchased from My Georgia Plumber. Homeowner supplied products are not eligible for refunds
- Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the service date (or credit card charge).
- The service or product must meet the criteria for a refund, which includes but is not limited to: duplicate charge, incomplete services, or membership cancelation.
- Supporting documentation (canceled checks or proof of duplicate charge etc.) must be provided with the refund request.
Non-Refundable Items/Services: Certain Products/Services are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Home warranty trade fees, non-covered charges, services provided, return trip fees.
- Products acquired from outside vendors or provided by the customer.
- Deposits paid for special order parts and/or restocking fees.
- Any promotional or special offers may have specific refund terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
Processing Time
- Refund review requests will be reviewed within 14 business days from the date of submission.
- If approved, refunds will be processed within 7 business days after the review has been completed.
- Approved refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment; alternative refund options are not available.
Important Notice for Home Warranty Customers
- Refunds related to any home warranty claim will only be processed after the claim has been paid in full by your home warranty provider.
- Any outstanding costs, including Covered, Non-covered, Trade Fee, or Return Trip Fee, will be deducted from the refund before processing.
- Home warranty claims are not considered paid until My Georgia Plumber receives payment from your home warranty provider.
- Claims that are scheduled for processing, currently on hold, or processed but not yet remitted are not considered paid and are ineligible for refunds.
- Processing times for any refund regarding a home warranty claim may vary from our standard refund policy. Home warranty claim refunds may take up to 90 days, depending on the home warranty company, policy, and claim processes.
Administrative Fee
Per the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of service an administrative and late fee of $125 will be charged for any disputed credit card charge where services have been rendered.
Refund Denial
- We reserve the right to deny a refund request if:The request is made beyond the 30-day limit from the purchase date.
- The product/service has been used in violation of our terms of service.
The request does not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
- Disputing charges post-services or after a refund denial will incur a $125 administrative fee, collection costs, court costs, and/or attorney fees, and will be escalated to legal for lien filing and collections procedures.
- All refund decisions are final. Staff and managers are not available to discuss or overturn these decisions.
Policy Changes
My Georgia Plumber retains the right to amend or modify this refund policy at any time.
By purchasing products or services from My Georgia Plumber, you agree to follow our refund policy. When you submit a refund review request, you confirm that you have read and understood our policy and certify that your request meets the outlined terms and conditions.
