The Champaign County Farm Bureau is offering 4- $1000 scholarship awards to Champaign County Farm Bureau members’ children, with preference given to applicants majoring in Agriculture. The scholarship is for the purpose of continuing higher education at a two or four year college or university.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applications will be accepted fromstudents meeting the following qualifications:
1.Must be a high school senior or graduate of a Champaign County high school.
2.Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a four year college or university, in a two year college program for Fall Quarter/Semester of 2024, or attending a trade school. (Preference given to applicants majoring in Agriculture)
3.Parents or applicant must be a Champaign County Farm Bureau member prior to applying.
4.Applicant may not have been a previous winner of this scholarship.
CONDITIONS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP – The award will be used towards the student’s tuition and fees and will be processed through the scholarship office of the chosen school. Half ($500) of the $1000 scholarship will be awarded in the fall and the remaining dollars ($500) will be awarded after grades from the first semester are received by the Farm Bureau office. It is the applicants responsibly to contact the Farm Bureau with a transcript of grades to receive the remaining scholarship dollars.
SELECTION – Selection of the final applicants will be made by the Champaign County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS – Our office will notify all applicants of the winners. Winners will be required to give a photograph to the Farm Bureau for our publications.
