It is the RIDER’s responsibility, not the Promoter’s or the RMEC’s, to ensure that the Rider has been awarded Eligibility or Worker Points. Riders are responsible to complete this form that will be submitted to the Promoter AND the RMEC for approval. The Promoter will reach out to you after completing this form to coordinate responsibilities.
RMEC Rulebook:
-RMEC Officers receive Worker Points for serving on the RMEC Board.
-For riders to receive Worker Points they must assist a Promoter with an Event. The amount of hours and days will be determined by that Promoter.
-To receive Worker Points or earn Eligibility, the rider needs to be available to the Promoter on the day of the event.
-Worker Points will be the average of the best 3 events. Worker Points will replace the lowest score of the season if the number of counted events has been reached. If the number of counted events has NOT been reached, the Worker Points will be added as the score for the event worked.
-A rider can only earn 1 set of Worker Points per season.
-Promoters can/will earn Worker Points for their event.
-Since the worker is required to work DURING the event, the rider CANNOT earn Worker Points and Race points for the same event.
-A rider must gain points in 4 events throughout the season for Worker Points to apply.
-Worker Points are only awarded for the Adult Series.
