Board Commitments
The Board meets five times a year on Tuesday evenings, in April, June, August, October, and December, usually in San Francisco and occasionally in Oakland; holds an annual Board retreat, historically on a Saturday in February; and holds an annual Veterans Day Fundraiser in San Francisco in November. We ask that you attend in person or by conference call, at least two-thirds of the board meetings each year and do not miss more than 2 consecutive meetings.

We will approach Board recruitment and retention in line with our DEI goals, including the goal that our staff and Board should be reflective of the clients we serve.
