    Who was James B. Wide?

James Wide was born on May 21, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois. During his elementary school years, his family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana. Even though Indy became his home, James maintained a deep affinity and connection to Chicago, often spending summers there with his family.

After graduating from North Central High School, James went on to obtain a degree in journalism from Indiana University. Aside from his lifelong career in journalism and public relations, James was also an entrepreneur.

Throughout his professional journey, James was a strong advocate for education. While he encouraged young adults to pursue higher education, James believed in the value of vocational institutions. He championed the idea that traditional colleges and universities might not be the best fit for everyone. With this mindset, James sought to empower young adults to find their own paths to success.

James Wide was a multifaceted man who lived a Christ-centered life. He was a firm believer in community service and actively volunteered in various capacities throughout Indianapolis. James supported initiatives that encouraged young people to develop into well-rounded adults who are equipped to navigate life’s challenges, pursue their passions, and make meaningful contributions to society.
