ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for freelance writers who possesses the ability to write informative, engaging, thought-provoking, and compelling blog articles on various lifestyle, business, entertainment, and community topics. In this position, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles, blog posts, and other materials that engage our audience and promote our brand. You should have excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of grammar and syntax, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. If you are passionate about writing and have a knack for storytelling, we encourage you to apply.
THIS IS A PART-TIME, FREELANCE POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researching and writing high-quality content on various lifestyle, business, entertainment, and community topics
- Meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborating with team members to determine content needs and preferences
- Editing and revising content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Using SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Communicating with team members and responding to feedback in a timely manner
- Managing your own workload and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Adhering to project guidelines and specifications
- Maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times
- Any other related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of professional freelance writing experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills (in English)
- Strong research and creativity skills
- Proficient knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Familiar with Wix
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration
- Highly RESOURCEFUL and CREATIVE
- Experience with different writing styles and formats
- Has a reliable internet connection, smart phone and laptop
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The pay for this role is N10/word (ten naira per word)
