2025 Summer Camp Staff Application

For 2025, to continue the culture of servanthood amongst our leaders and to lessen the strain on student staff, we have adjusted the camp staff for the following:

Staff will cover all recreation and behind the scenes with camp. Pastors Alexis Guillory and Josiah Freeman will oversee the staff to invest, disciple, and cover the spiritual aspects of the staff over the weeks of camp.

For pay, all staff will receive a weekly stipend and a camp shirt.

Also, Lifeguards will be compensated for their license over 2 years. Staffers who work for all youth, middle school, and kids camps, will receive a bonus as well. Team leads will receive a weekly bonus to cover extra responsibilities associated with the management role.

LIFEGUARDS (MUST COMPLETE AND PASS LICENSED LIFEGUARD TRAINING PROGRAM AND POSSESS CURRENT VALID LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATE)

Process includes:
•Application
•Pastoral Recommendation sent in by current pastor
•For first time staffers, Staff Directors will follow up with recommending pastor
•Staff Directors will interview first time staffers

All staff must be connected with an Assemblies of God Church or Chi Alpha Ministry and show affirmation of having a conversion experience as a Christian. All applicants should have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a servants' heart.

I understand that by signing up for Camp Staff, I am signing up for a missions trip-experience. I promise to do my best to uphold the guiding principles and rules listed within the handbook, which include exemplifying modesty, holiness, and appropriate Christian behavior as described. I also recognize that serving on Camp Staff can be a lot of work and promise to do my best to serve during this time of missions and ministry at the campground. *

I understand that submission of this application does not guarantee that I will be chosen to work as a staff member for these camps selected. I also authorize my consent for Camp Coordinators to run a background check on me. (Background checks are only done on applicants 18 & older). I give my consent for the camp first aid personnel or other qualified authority to administer proper medication and/or treatment to my child as needed. In the event I cannot be notified of necessary emergency surgery or other medical treatment for my child, I give my permission for the attending physician to treat him/her in the manner he/she recommends. I also give permission for photos (individual or group) & video footage to be taken of me (18 & over) or my student at this event, to be used in the best interest of the Louisiana District Council of the Assemblies of God. I understand, for the safety and protection of the registered participants, this camp is a closed campus event.
