This section is very important. Please ensure you read and understand the contents before you sign and submit your application form.
Data Protection: By law, we must tell you that All Nations Christian College collects and processes personal data in order to provide services to students, manage its operations effectively, and meet legal requirements. It is only disclosed to third parties on a need-to-know basis, if we are legally obliged to do so or with your permission. All data disclosed will be stored in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018. See the Privacy Notice page on our website to read All Nations Data Protection Policy and Student Privacy Notice which explains the storage and disclosure of personal details in greater detail.
• I agree to the College processing personal data contained in this form, or other data which the College may obtain from me or other legitimate sources, for any purpose connected with my studies, health, welfare, safety or for any other legitimate purpose. I understand that without this agreement, the College is unable to process my application.
• Should I be accepted on a programme of study, I am willing for my contact details to be made available to the student committee in order to receive necessary student information (e.g. welcome pack, the weekly College Bulletin, and other student notices).
• I understand that I must complete section 19 now, stating whether or not I have any unspent criminal record. Should I answer yes and I receive a conditional offer of a place, I will be asked to provide further information about my convictions and any current restrictions as part of the College safeguarding team's assessment of any risk that I may pose to the College community. I further understand that the outcome of this risk assessment (together with any required mitigation measures) will determine whether or not the conditional offer can be confirmed. If I require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK, I understand I must give details of any criminal record, including unfiltered spent convictions in a separate document as part of this application. This information is required because applications for entry clearance, or further leave to remain in the UK can be refused on the basis of a person’s criminal history. Even some fines, police cautions or being disqualified from driving can also be treated very seriously by the UK Visa and Immigration department.
• I understand that students with children study on our campus. To protect children and any vulnerable adults on our site therefore, I understand that all UK residential applicants are required to provide a certificate of a Basic DBS check, dated within 3 months before the start of their course. Overseas and UK residential applicants who have spent 3 months or more living or working overseas must provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (or equivalent) from those countries in which they have lived for more than 3 months. This is because the DBS check will only cover the period since they arrived in the UK. I understand I will be asked to produce this document as a condition of enrolment.
• I understand that if I require any support during the application or interview process due to any health conditions, mental health conditions, disabilities, and/or learning difficulties I may contact the admissions department to request such support. Any disclosure of any of these conditions is not seen by the admissions panel and forms no part of the decision whether to admit you as a student to All Nations. However, if you wish to apply for reasonable adjustments (either physical or learning) to be put in place in order to access your studies on an equal basis with your peers, we advise you to discuss this with us from the earliest opportunity. This is to ensure that, as far as possible, there is sufficient time to carry out a suitable needs assessment, determine what support you need and to implement the support agreed. Please refer to the Admissions Policy on the Handbooks & Policies page of our website and see Section 2 below.
• I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to respect the All Nations Christian College Statement of Faith
• I hereby make a formal application to study at All Nations Christian College and confirm that to the best of my knowledge the information given in this application and in the supporting document is accurate and complete.
• I accept that if any of the enclosed information is found to be untrue or misleading All Nations Christian College reserves the right to either refuse entry or dismiss me from the course.
