Chicago Open Call VIP List

The open call for Chicago will be held on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.

***If you’ve already filled out an application and submitted a video, you do not need to attend the open call. Of course you are welcome to attend, but it’s not necessary!***

REMINDERS - if you haven't yet filled out the application, here are the eligibility requirements. Make sure you read these over before you attend!

In order to participate, you must:

Have NOT traveled to Norway after the age of 15
Be of Norwegian descent
Be at least 18 years old
Be able to travel to Chicago for finalist callbacks, which are tentatively scheduled to take place the week of March 11th, 2024.
Be able to film a presentation of you and your hometown, to be delivered soon after the participants are chosen. Guidelines on how to do this will be provided.
Be able to travel to Norway and be available for up to 6 weeks to participate in the production of this amazing adventure to be shot in Norway from May to June 2024.
Willing to have a criminal background check done on you.

If you’re not able to attend at all, it’s ok – we can accept a home video submission or may be able to schedule a virtual interview at a later date.*
